Pages on this site explain plumbing problems in general terms, including safety steps. Plumbing, gas and electrical systems can be dangerous. If you smell gas, leave the building and call your gas utility or 911 from outside. We try to keep the information accurate, but we make no promise that it is complete or current, and you use it at your own risk.
